Tire siping is the practice of cutting additional slits into the tire’s tread which improves the traction and handling, especially in snow, wet or icy conditions. Our American Made Tire Siper machines have models available for all sized passenger cars and trucks with applications on mounted and unmounted tires. As a tire rotates, the siping opens up to take in water and remove it from the contact area of the tire. The additional biting edges provide enhance traction for a variety of driving situations.
Most of the Tire Siper machines do not require any additional accessories and take as little as 4 minutes per tire to sipe. This is a great addition to any tire or automotive shop and helps streamline operations.
